On Saturday night, a gang-related shooting on Wydgelee Street in Wesbank left four people injured — two men and two women aged between 21 and 54. According to police spokesperson Wesley Twigg, the incident unfolded when two male victims were chased by unknown suspects who opened fire. The two female victims were caught in the crossfire. All four victims sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a medical facility for treatment. Mfuleni detectives have since launched an investigation into four counts of attempted murder.
